Happy Birthday Brin! -Part 1

Brinley is officially 4 years old! We had some fun things planned for her birthday and as it always turns out there is a million other things going on at the same time, so it turns into days and days of fun.
On Friday we had a friend party. Brin really wanted a Tinkerbell party and many of her friends are boys, so we had to modify it into a Neverland Adventure. She dressed up as Tinkerbell and led her friends throughout Neverland. We started in "The Nursery" (her bedroom) and she sprinkled them each with pixie dust, and off they went to find Captain Hooks treasure. Marty was Captain Hook (thanks honey!) First they went to Crocodile Creek (kitchen) and made little crocodiles with googly eyes. Then it was off to Mermaid Lagoon (master bath) and fished for mermaids. Next they went to the Indian Camp (front yard) and help collect all the lost feathers. After that, they went to Pirate Cove (backyard) and had to walk the plank. Finally, they found the treasure and then were invited to Pixie Hollow (backyard) for treats. We had them sit on blankets in the backyard and east ice cream and cupcakes. Unfortunately by the time we made it all the way to Pixie Hollow, it had cooled off a little to much and the wind had picked up. So we moved inside. Brin opened presents, she got many fun things, all of her friends were so generous. Then they danced and we read a Neverland story. Toward the end of the party we turned on the Peter Pan movie and had the kids wind down and get ready for their parents to pick them up. She had a lot of fun and it was good to see her interacting with her friends. She said her favorite part was when her friends all sang Happy Birthday to her.
The party was a lot of work, and I usually go a little over the top. I doubt I will ever learn my lesson to keep it simple. :)

p.s. I don't take credit for all the ideas, the internet definitely helped me get to the final product.
